    Sales Engineer - Plastic processing industry

    JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    Mandatory:
    Technical University studies - graduated
    A solid technical background
    English – advanced level
    Good skills in MS Office
    High Availability to travel (up to 3 nights per week)
    1-5 years of work experience
    Teamwork
    The ability to build relationships with clients quickly
    Analytical and problem-solving skills
    Independence
    Driving licence - B category

    Ideally:
    Disponibility to start as soon as possible
    Knowledge of plastic processing field
    Knowledge of other European language
    Previous experience in field sales of a technical product, preferably in Plastics Industry
    Previous direct contact with the company’s clients or customers

    Responsibilities

    YOUR FUTURE ROLE:

    Through training and support, the purpose of the Sales Engineer will be to manage a group of accounts in its territory and be responsible for understanding the market, the delivery of the expected business results for his/her accounts, the implementation of professionalism action plans, the development of the Company / account relationships and the coordination and management of a product's business objectives.

    Searching for new clients who could benefit from company’s products in a designated region
    Travelling to visit potential clients
    Establishing new / or maintaining existing relationships with customers
    Managing and interpreting customer requirements
    Persuading clients that a product or service will best satisfy their needs
    Calculating client quotations
    Negotiating tender and contract terms
    Negotiating and closing sales by agreeing terms and conditions
    Preparing reports for head office
    Meeting regular sales targets
    Regularly assesses the business results versus the objectives and develops corrective action plans to reach business objectives
    Recording and maintaining client contact data
    Co-ordinating sales projects
    Supporting marketing by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events
    Making technical presentations and demonstrating how a product will meet client needs
    Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education
    Liaising with other members of the sales team and other technical experts
    Solving client problems
    Helping in the design of custom-made products
    Cooperate in providing training and producing support material for the sales team

    Researches the local market (channels of distribution, competitors in the marketplace, the market's potential for the company products)
    Develops the commercial contract with the customers in his/her territory
