Digitalization of the industry requires a holistic view on the overall process to enable new business models. For each task in the lifecycle specialized systems either on Siemens-side, customer-side or even OEM’s are used. It is unrealistic that one-time a super-system comprises all of these functions. Digital Federation Architecture wants to bring the systems together in a federated context so that the user can use a seamlessly integrated application where in the back each local system still live an evolve in his own speed.

Develop architecture designs and patterns for different kinds of system integration

Implement proof of concepts to evaluate feasibility of solution (functional and non-functional evaluations)

Evaluate and proof technologies to enable system federation seamlessly

Actively communicate experience to the team

Your Qualifications – Solid and Appropriate

Senior: >6 years’ experience and practice in software architecture

Junior: Experience and practice in software architecture

Applying the SOLID principles as a first citizen in architecture and design

Experience in event-driven architecture design

Experience in using cloud-technologies (AWS, Azure; PaaS-services)

Experience in designing and implementing microservices

Mythological analysis of problem cases

Working agile in increments and being open for feedback
