Full-Stack Developer

Toluna is a leading provider of real-time digital consumer insights, and empowers companies to brainstorm ideas, uncover new business opportunities and answer their questions in real-time.

To complete our R&D team based in Timisoara and support our growth in Europe, we are looking for a Full-Stack Developer whom will be instrumental in helping Toluna build next-generation web applications.

Your activities will include:

As a Full Stack Developer at Toluna, you will be responsible for the design, development, testing and support of multiple web components that are part of our Web based products. You will work and interact with multiple teams in multiple locations and will get full ownership of components.   

Toluna’s vision is to build a platform for Market Research that is highly scalable, Web and Cloud based and enables anyone to ask for consumers’ opinions. You will specialize on both backend and frontend software development, helping our vision come true. You will build responsive and elegant web UIs with bleeding edge HTML/CSS specs, advanced JavaScript libraries and similar technologies. You will also be working on the server side to provide end to end solutions for our applications.

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or similar specialization;
• Several years asp.Net or Java experience in commercial or open source software development;
• Experience in developing/designing large and scalable software systems;
• Experience in client side web development including MVC, JavaScript, jQuery,  HTML5, CSS3;
• Experience with databases (e.g. MySQL, MSSQL, etc.);
• Outstanding drive and communication skills.

Nice to have:

• Experience with NodeJs, AngularJs, Knockout;
• Experience with responsive design;
• Passion for neat UI and UX;
• Experience with Internet Gadgets, Widgets, Facebook API, Google Maps etc.
• Experience with Cross-browser bugs and inconsistencies.
