Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Your duties are challenging and varied:
•You will be responsible for the design of complex and complete devices, assemblies and components;
•You will clarify and define design requirements with the customer in the form of project descriptions and analysing design expenditure;
•Quality assurance measures as well as tolerance calculations and design FMEAs are also part of your work.
•You will draw up design solutions and create CAD models in Catia V5, taking customer 3D date into account, be responsible for the accurate information regarding the bill of materials, data exchange and storage into database
•You will draw up design solutions taking functional, material related, technical production and mechanical aspects into account;
•You present and represent the results of your work within the company and suppliers or at the customers.

Your profile is as varied as your new duties:
•You will have completed studies in mechanical engineering;
•You have knowledge of systematic design, tolerance analysis and FMEA;
•You have a minumum of 3 years of experience in designing plastic parts, metal sheet and/or die cast parts in automotive area.
•You have good knowledge of tolerance calculation, plastic injection and technical design expertise.
•You have a good command of English and German would be an advantage. And you have a thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office.
