• Reviewing and testing our existing websites, products and tools to ensure they work as intended.
• Work closely with service providers and project teams to develop testing strategies, coordinate testing activities and manage issue resolution
• Direct overall Test Phases from planning to closure. Identify necessary teams to successfully complete the Test Phase.
• Determine QA Work Breakdown Structure components for team members and coordinate with Project Managers
• Analyze project or requirement documents to identify scope of testing and formulate that information into test plans and test cases
• Review requirements and other project artifacts for quality and content
• Develop Master Test Plan and Strategy by identifying appropriate test techniques and tools that ensure product quality and test completion
• Identify risk and maximize test effectiveness by prioritizing and sequencing testing
• Review and approve test cases created by other testers
• Record, report, and track defects to accurately reflect the status of the testing phase and quality of the software
• Facilitate triage of defects and assist in defect investigation and escalation
• Walk through the test results with the team and communicate status to Project Managers
• Participate in release meetings for maintenance and development projects ensuring all requirements pertaining to testing are met
• Collaborate with other areas within IT to identify and improve testing tools and approaches
