    Requirements

    Technical competencies/experience required:
    - understanding of basic testing principles (positive/negative testing, black/gray/white box testing, test plan development)
    - prior testing experience both manual and automatic testing
    - Linux and Windows operating systems (administrative tasks not just usage)
    - basic shell scripting (bash, sh)
    - API testing (understanding of HTTP protocol, REST APIs)
    - web application testing
    Nice to have:
    - scripting experience in python, ruby, perl
    - basic VBScript and/or powershell
    - AIX (or other UNIX variants)
    - experience with middleware (DBs, application servers, etc)
    - ISTQB or similar certifications
    - Selenium or other web testing frameworks
    - knowledge HTTP protocol, examples of headers, authentication types
