IT Service Desk Consultant

Due to business growth and internationalisation, Systematic IT is looking to expand our service desk function. Systematic has ambitious plans to replace to transform our internal IT Service Desk. Working as a member of our IT team, the successful applicant will play a significant role in this transformation.
Your role will be to support our colleagues who require support with their equipment, desktop, telephony and business applications or have service requests that need to be fulfilled. You will be part of the team developing our online service catalogue and self-service capabilities.

You will be joining the Business Application and Support team which consists of 14 people, based in Aarhus, Denmark and Bucharest, Romania. This team has responsibility for our internal development tool suite, customer facing ITSM solution, business applications and internal IT Service Desk.
The main tasks
- Level 1 and 2 technical support
- Service request fulfilment
- Maintaining the service catalogue
- Writing knowledge articles and FAQs
The candidate will be expected to be on call for one week per month for critical issues until 22:00 on weekdays and from 09:00 to 16:00 during weekends. This will be subject to financial compensation.
Degree in computer science, engineering, or similar
Microsoft Office and operating system
Support of IT infrastructure knowledge
Business application support experience preferred
Able to write clear user FAQs and instructions
Experience with ITSM tool
Minimum of 3 years’ experience. The candidate is expected to deliver from day 1.
