Java Software Developer

We are seeking a smart and passionate java software engineer who will develop and test new functionalities of the Thales environmental conformity analysis tool (Eco tool).

The ECO tool allows to analyze the nomenclatures of your equipment to check environmental compliance with regulations in force or specific customer requirements. The analysis is based on information from the permanently updated Thales Components database (TCIS). The ECO tool enables Thales Entities to generate standard documents like for example: MDF-Materials Data Form. This tool integrates an interface with the TCIS database for the exchange of information (XML format).

The development will be performed in close co-operation with experts in Thales Romania & Thales France and could require traveling between these locations.

Job summary:

Specify, code and test software components in an agile team

Required competencies/experience:

Minimum three years in software development
Object Oriented programming
Java 8, Java EE
JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3,SOAP
Jasper reports
Design pattern
Automatic testing
Agile process
Fluent English
French language is a plus
