Who we’re looking for
A hands-on engineer willing to work with both hardware and software to create a high available solution for the testing needs of the software teams.
An engineer with a system overview willing to improve existing solution in terms of distributed access, speed and usability.
Constant preoccupation for improving the status quo through innovative solutions, preoccupation for quality and a critical mindset towards self and other's work are ingredients for a successful candidate. A high degree of self-organizing is required in order to cope with task variation and level of interaction with stakeholders.
Must have skills:
• Previous interaction with hardware infrastructure in a production environment
• Basic level of scripting (e.g. Python, bash)
• Self-organized
• Decent fluency in English

The following are not mandatory but are plusses:
• Debugging and parching hardware
• Basic networking know-how

You will manage the Automotive lab activities in terms of: access (e.g. interfaces with users and software), expansions following the growing needs, maintenance.
You will collaborate with the software teams to understand their needs, prototype and productize lab solutions.

The lab engineer role is managing a critical piece of infrastructure required for the robustness of the software deliverables. This infrastructure consists of hardware and software which need to perform as a high availability system: no down time, distributed model, audited access, scalable
The lab contains hardware equipment used to test the software products we do in a continuous way. The software products are interfaced with the lab via a reservation software which need to be available
The lab engineer mission is to grow and maintain the lab infrastructure.
