Scrum Master certification required

4-6 years of experience as a Scrum Master or similar role

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field

Knowledge and experience of using software development tools such as Jira preferred

Strong facilitation and problem-solving skills

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Excellent command of English language, both speaking and writing

CSM certification, preferred

Facilitate and organize all Scrum activities including daily Scrum meetings, sprint and release planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

Guide and coach the team on Scrum and Agile practices to improve overall velocity and achieve objectives.

Coordinate the resolution of impediments across organizational boundaries

Providing support to the team using a servant leadership style and leading by example

Assesses agile maturity of the team and coaches to team to reach higher levels of maturity and to continuously improve

Creates and maintains release burn downs, velocity projections and project forecasts for project visibility and to ensure timely decision making.

Work with Product Owner to document acceptance criteria, perform backlog grooming, and prioritize features/user stories.

Ensure adherence to our client Agile/PMO MCAM’ Methodology during project execution.

Advise on appropriate action, including needs for business contingency planning, and countermeasures with respect to implementation of IT solutions using Agile/Scrum.

Participate in the continued development of the Agile project management function within IT.

They are seeking an experienced scrum master for the commercial and e-commerce products. The scrum master will lead self-organizing and self-managing teams in applying and optimizing Agile practices to improve team performance and effectiveness. The scrum master will also help coach new teams as the organization starts to scale Agile.

A successful candidate will have good teamwork, communications and relationship-building skills, but will also continuously develop skills in a variety of Agile and Solution Delivery frameworks. The Scrum Master will collaborate with a wide variety of stakeholders around the world, including Business Partners, Product Owners, technical professionals, Project Managers and Management functions, to run IT projects, achieve project objectives, deliver business benefits, ensuring that risks are identified and managed appropriately during project execution and that objectives are achieved within budget & time and with the required quality.

The position is based in Bucharest, Romania and will report to the Senior Manager Solution Delivery in Romania.
