Requirements:

Sound knowledge of macroeconomic theory;
Good writing skills;
Good presentation skills;
Good knowledge of microeconomics – for driving sector-relevant projects;
Good knowledge of econometrics;
CFA enrollment is a plus.

Overall purpose:

The purpose of this role is to guide the macroeconomic and financial market understanding and outlook of relevant decision makers - senior management as well as other key roles, in order to better shape business decisions.;
Reports to the Treasury and Macroeconomic Analysis Director and is responsible to deliver regular economic reports on all four countries where eMAG is active (RO, PL, HU, BG) as well as ad hoc notes or presentations;
Provides direction with respect to the shaping of the global economic assessments and is up to date with the latest trends in global ecommerce;
Collaborate with Public Policy Officer by offering expert advice in designing position papers.
