    Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

    Minimum 2 years working experience in a similar position; certified financial qualification (ACCA/CIMA) is a plus
    Good knowledge of Management Accounting techniques in relation to Profit and Loss Statement and Balance Sheet
    Good knowledge of Romania’s Accounting Law, and good understanding of IFRS accounting standards;
    Excellent spreadsheet & computer skills;
    Good analytical and numerical skills;
    Proficient on SAP software;
    Fluency in both written and spoken English;
    Good communication skills both verbal and written.

    Responsabilitati

    In the planning and reporting process the job holder provides support to the Planning & Reporting Manager during the Monthly Reporting & Company Plan process, mainly by controlling of the Overheads and Capital Expenditure Budgets and also prepares information for the Profit and Loss Account and Balance Sheet monthly estimations. As Single Point of Contact for BASS Europe the job holder acts as interface between BASSE business (“end market”) and accounting services (“shared services”).

    PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

    Planning/Reporting: Month End Closure and Quarterly Reporting cycles (QPRs and Company Plan):
    Issue of monthly reports, analysis and guidelines for budget holders regarding Overheads and Capex
    Variance analysis: actual vs budget by service line and cost category; query material
    Performing monthly closure activities within the timeframe, ensuring accuracy of postings
    Drive the analysis and review of actual versus planned forecast in Overheads and Capex. Ensure the accuracy of the financial data posted;
    Support in analysis of Coplan and QPR financial information, obtain clarification from budget holders where is needed and prepare the summaries;
    Ensure proper design and implementation of WBS structure, cost centres and system reports in order to increase efficiency and to properly reflect economic and legislative changes;

    SPOC:
    Provide support to the other departments with SAP workflow / FI invoice related queries
    Act as day to day Single Point of Contact (SPoC) by supporting BASSE with current issue log, changes and best practises implementation in line with BAT Target Operation Model (TOM)
    Ensuring timely processing of invoices without purchase order and follow up for approval
    Supporting purchase order requisitioners with accounting details (cost centre, GL account and tax code)
    Monitoring the status of purchase orders (PO) and regular review of open POs to enhance forecast accuracy
    Initiating advance payments in SAP, as required
    Ensuring creation of cost centres and work breakdown structures in line with business needs and BAT hierarchy
    Ensuring proper creation and disposal of assets and maintaining supporting documentation

    Others:
    Establish and maintain a strong partnership and provide technical support and advice to other departments, collaborate with external auditors.
    Assure the compliance with the IFRS and Group Reporting Guidelines
    Ensure and develop a good relationship with the team in order to share knowledge, analyze report data, offer and improve good professional services, understand and apply fiscal legislation and IFRS.
    Understands and communicates the impact of accounting issues on non-finance departments
    Full optimisation of SAP functionalities to improve time taken to close month end
