Knowledge and experience in leading the Financial and HR activity.
Ability and willingness to be hands-on.
English speaking and writing.
Team player, not only within the own department but as well between different departments (operational & management).
Experience within the transport sector (road, air, sea forwarding, own vehicles, vessel agency and chartering).
Accountability for overall financial and cash control.
Produce and review the monthly management accounts in accordance with agreed timetables.
Produce and review cash and other forecasts and submit to Group (local management as well as groups board).
Develop Executive information and Key Performance Indicators to support operational and strategic monitoring and improvement.
Develop, review and monitor budgets, capital expenditure, operational financial and cash forecasts on a daily, weekly and monthly basis as required.
Ensure that the process for raising and recording purchase orders, invoicing is complete, accurate, robust and reliable, controlling and identifying all commitments.
Ensure that all income due and supplier payments are completely and accurately recorder on the financial systems.
Reconcile customer and supplier statements and process payment of purchase invoices.
Ensure that all customer payments received and supplier payments are made promptly in accordance with agreed terms.
Maintain credit control function.
Ensure that only appropriate customer credit is allowed and that prompt and effective action is taken to pursue overdue debts.
Produce annual audit information schedules and other information requirements for statutory and other auditors.
Assist in the production of annual statutory accounts.
Ensure all statutory accounting records are maintained in accordance with best accounting practice, legal requirements and Group standards.
Report to CEO (Romania) & CFO (Group) any inconsistencies between actual practice and required standards.
Ensure compliance with taxation requirements in Romania.
Supervise and provide guidance for other members of the finance team.
Carry out from time to time other tasks as requested.
Will be a key-member to advise and implement new processes, software (operational & accounting).
