    Job Qualifications:
    For the position of a Software Support Engineer you must have experience with software development methodologies, IT infrastructure (VMware), IT configuration tools (such as Puppet / Ansible or similar platforms) and version control systems (Git). The candidate should know how to support and troubleshoot various Operating Systems (Windows, RHEL, Ubuntu) and treat infrastructure as code.
    Effective communication skills and fluency in English are a must. Our candidate should be able to solve problems by him-/herself and organize his/her own work. Experience in international multi-site teams would be nice.

    Requirements:
    - Master or Bachelor degree in IT or SW engineering
    -3 to 5 years work experience
    -Knowledge of or experience with Orchestration Engines and Automation Workflows
    - Proficiency experience with build configuration tools
    - VMware knowledge and experience
    - Proven competency with Linux and Windows administration
    - Support experience in complex technical environments
    - Strong knowledge in Scripting (Bash, Shell, Python and/or PowerShell)
    - Experience working with multiple teams in an Agile environment
    - Familiarity of SaaS ITOM platforms such as ServiceNow

    Soft Skills:
    - Quality orientation/attention to detail
    - Customer oriented attitude
    - Excellent troubleshooting and documentation skills

    Software Engineering Services is one of NXP’s newest IT teams, which will grow fast and will become even more important in the next years. NXP’s software community is growing rapidly and is asking fast IT response. Software Engineering Services must become more Agile by automation and Orchestration in a secure, stable and end-user friendly way. We must constantly be aware of how new technologies can integrate into our IT environment and ultimately serve new demands and better end user satisfaction in a timely manner.

    Job Summary:
    Within the Software Engineering Service team you will be responsible to develop, maintain and support IT Services for the Software Community. We Work in an Agile way and therefore your focus will be to further automate and orchestrate our environment and help our customers to utilize our services as efficient and effective as possible. You will work on existing IT Services but also help to design and implement new IT Services.
