On behalf of our client, an important multinational company from the oil & gas sector, we are recruiting Logistic Specialist with the following qualifications:

Competencies:
• Ability to think strategically, analyze large amount of data and information objectively, and make quick decisions.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Power Point
• Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and collaborative skills
• Understanding of general logistics processes / local logistics rules and regulations
• Proficiency / working knowledge of TMS preferred, but not required

• Plan shipments to meet the required delivery dates from operations and identify consolidation opportunities.
• Ensure the maximum usage of contracted rates when arranging shipments.
• Manage operational logistics transactions with the logistics suppliers.
• Be the GeoMarket/Support Center (customer) focal point for all international logistics movements.
• Ensure full compliance of all transports with the international transport regulations.
• Monitor cargo moves status and performances, and investigate deviations.
• Perform real-time tracking and monitoring of all shipments and communicate any deviations with stakeholders.
• Implement proactive and corrective measures combined with appropriate communication when early warning signs of deviation are detected.
• Manage international logistics movements ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Ensure full compliance of all transports with the international transport regulations.
• Responsible for ensuring the proper storage of electronic documents in the system.
• Be the interface between the Import/Export teams and assure smooth communication flow between all parties.
• Participate in the performance analysis meeting.
• Responsible for monitoring and data capture of logistics milestones in the business system.
