Project Description:

About the Project:
Software development for Lenovo networking hardware (L2/L3 switches)


Mandatory Skills:

- Working knowledge of IT environments, technologies
- Basic knowledge of Data Network
- Practical Knowledge of installing Windows 10/ windows servers
- Practical knowledge of installing console servers, installing equipment racks
- Knows Microsoft Excel and Word for doing inventory work
- Good team player (interfacing with partners and development teams globally), self-motivated, taking ownership of complex problems with confidence and enthusiasm
- Good written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills

Nice-to-Have Skills:

- Practical Knowledge of installing Linux Operating system
- Unix and Linux knowledge at an Operator level
- VMWare server experience
- Practical knowledge of installing VMs and installing and configuring the operating systems

Responsibilities:

- Installing and configuring networking equipment
- Repairing and replacing equipment, as appropriate
- Inventory of laboratory and office equipment
- Monitoring and maintenance of computer systems and networks
- Support for local software development teams
- Create incidents for local IT issues
- Set up accounts for new users
- Placing orders through Lenovo tools and creating POs for the needs of ongoing development projects
- Create customs documentation for import and export of products
