    Responsibilities

The Supply Planner is the liaison between Demand Planning processes, Commercial and Customer Service-Execution to address changes to the supply plan and resolve customer service issues in the near and mid-term planning horizons.

Supply Planning & scheduling - Monitor key master data and supply chain parameters in planning/SAP. Support commercial teams in concluding and finalizing the demand plan. Own the conversion and development of the demand plan into a network supply plan. This plan balances volume across the network to optimize service levels, cost and flexibility. In addition, this person will be responsible for converting the master (production) plan into material requirements needs, planning intra-network shipments and ensuring direct customer shipments are available to be scheduled via Available to Promise process.

Convert the Master Production Plan into feasible daily plans which optimize supply and distribution needs for the allocated locations/commodities. Publish and update throughout the day as required to accommodate unplanned interruptions. Collaborate with Customer Service-Execution and commercial teams to mitigate any unplanned interruptions or unexpected demand. Timely and effectively communicate supply/distribution issues that may result in poor plan adherence.

Inventory Management - Set inventory strategies and targets to meet customer service needs while minimizing carrying costs. Work with finance and commercial to achieve financial inventory goals. Track inventory segments and inventory levels against targets and address inventory imbalances, aging inventory, etc.

Process Improvements/Analysis & Metrics - Manage KPI’s to support the organization’s service, working capital, and cost goals. Provide formal and informal reporting on KPI performance

Support Operational improvement projects. Conduct additional analysis as needed for projects. Follow new processes / standards set in place as part of the projects. Work towards improving maturity of the Supply Planning processes
