• As a Solution Analyst… end-to-end responsibility for solution design, build, integrate & deploy the following:
o explore and influence business needs and conceptualize solution design
o capture designs in technical specifications and reporting design documents
o Coordination with Backend team to make sure the solution proposed is aligned with the reporting requirements
o Design the solution following the best practices
o Provide the functional and technical design to the developer (if not him/her)
o Manage the development team and make sure the development is aligned with the design and following the standards
• As BI Report Developer
o Creation/modification and maintenance of Cognos reports
o Creation/modification and maintenance of Cognos cubes and packages
o Understand the data structure and meaning in both source and target BI systems
o Evaluate the performance of the solution and propose improvement actions covering the back-end design
o Impact analysis of the modifications in source systems on Cognos solution
o Apply Business rules as transformations
o Develop the solution following the best practices
o Collaborate with offshore build teams
o Perform data reconciliation
o Track and test to Production environment
o Conduct knowledge transfer to sustain organizations
• As Cognos technical expert
o IBM Cognos software maintenance and configuration
o IBM Cognos administration: implementing security for users, creating and scheduling Cognos jobs and Event Studio agents for creating report output versions, sending emails and running database updates
o Mastering Cognos Framework Manager, IBM Report Studio, IBM Analysis Studio, WebI and Cognos Transformer

• +5 years of relevant professional experience in Business Intelligence
• +5 years of recent experience as BI Frontend developer using Cognos 8
• Highly skilled in Oracle technologies and performance tuning
• Very good knowledge of data warehousing and dimensional modelling
• Very good knowledge of SQL development
• Following would be an assets:
o SAP BO Reporting tools
o Experience in SAP Hana DB
o Power BI Reporting
o Agile methodology
• Strong level of spoken and written English. French would be an asset.
• Previous international experience a definite plus
• Strong level of communication and team spirit
• High Autonomy
• Business understanding and ability to communicate easily with the business
• Ability to learn quickly new technologies
