Customer & Material Master Data Specialist (SPS)

• In-depth understanding of SAP system & Master Data
• Awareness and understanding of how the quality of data, and processes by which that data is created, may affect business intelligence reporting
• Self-motivated and pro-active individual with the ability to work with minimal supervision
• Good team player, participative, unafraid to speak up and have opinions heard

• Responsible for day to day management of Customer Master Data updates
• Responsible for quality checks prior to loading a new customer into SAP:
- naming standards are followed for name and address
- local postal regulations are followed for address
- customer legal name is used
- customer does not already exist (no duplicates, 1 credit account per legal entity)
- customer address is correct
- ensures unique identifiers such as VAT registration number
- data to be loaded is accurate
- data to be loaded is complete
• Make recommendation for process improvement
• Participate to standardization projects that involve Customer Master Data changes.
• Provide support in customer master migrations
