Junior Testing Engineer

• Minimum 1 years experience in a similar position
• Development, execution of tests (automatic and manual)
• Definition of test cases accordingly with Functional Requirements
• Understanding of the entire software development life cycle
• Knowledge of different testing principles and techniques
• Knowledge of SQL/PLSQL, web-based application and OOP testing frameworks and techniques (must to know Junit, preferences for: GUI test and persistence framework tests)
• Proactive, detail and result oriented, motivated in delivering high quality work
• Excellent communication skills
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
• Ability to prioritize tasks

• Design and definition of testing strategies
• Write documentation and detailed/accurate reports
• Work closely with developers and business analysts to clarify different issues that arise during testing
• Follow each project phase and ensure test strategy and quality standard compliancy
• Contribute with new ideas and experience on quality standards continuous improvement
• Technical analysis, conception and implementation of customer requirements
• (Integration-)test support and build & deploy of new versions for the test phases
• Cooperation with the technical and organizational contact persons in the team and business department as well as the software manufacturer
