Chief Accountant

Sport Couture Group is a retail group of which belong:
- Sport Couture - lifestyle store that combines the most fashionable brands & collections at the borderline between multi-brand and a concept store.
- Burberry Romania - franchise of the luxury British brand Burberry.
- KIDZ Sport - combines the most cool brands & collections for kids, like Vans, Nike, Adidas, Fila.
- Fashion Lifestyle & Distribution SRL - official distributor of the brands VANS, NEW ERA, SUPERDRY with 7 retail stores in the shopping centers: AFI PALACE COTROCENI, BANEASA SHOPPING CENTER, MEGA MALL, PARKLAKE and SUN PLAZA;

At least 5 years relevant experience in financial & management accounting;
University degree in Accounting / Business Administration / Economy
Certified public accountant;
Good MS Office skills particularly strong capabilities in MS Excel;
Working experience in Navision;
Excellent strategic planning skills and able to interact with all levels.;
Strong knowledge in Romanian Tax laws and regulations and IFRS financial reporting knowledge;
Good knowledge in USA Accounting & Taxation compliance is a plus.

Organize and manage the overall accounting processes in the company;
Maintaining accurate and up to date records of all financial transactions;
Develop and maintain internal control and effective accounting system and policies;
Ensuring the correctness of relevant book-keeping and preparing all tax declarations properly on time;
Follow up new tax legislation that may have an effect on operation and informing when necessary;
Responsible for preparing complete and accurate financial statements in accordance with local requirements;
Being in charge to sign off the financial statements;
Being the contact person for the relations with tax authority and establishing a good communication with the tax authority;
Excellent cooperation with external auditors to carry out periodical external audit processes;
Maintains quality relationships with service providers, collaborating banks and authorities;
Supervise and follow all necessary financial applications to the public authorities and commercial organizations;
Up-to-date with all the Group’s activity.
