Experienced Software Engineer - Backend

We are always involved in projects that address real world problems. That’s why  we are currently producing solutions for the automotive, developing projects for electric cars, electric car charging, mobility, telematics and applications for smart parking systems.

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineering or equivalent experience

• Speaks Python or is willing to learn Python

• A proven track record of building and shipping impactful, high-quality software projects

• Experience with microservices and RESTful APIs

• Experience with at least one web development framework (e.g.: Django, Flask,Spring)

• Experience with relational database (e.g.: PostgreSQL)

• Familiar with Linux/Unix environments and open source tools

• Ability to work independently

• Ability to drive a project all the way from ambiguous requirements to deployment  

• Experience with software development best practices and techniques

• Willingness to learn and use Python as the primary programming language

Considered a plus:

• Experience with Python

• Experience with asynchronous programming

• Experience with non-relational databases (e.g.: MongoDB)

• Experience with HTML, CSS and JavaScript

• Willingness to partake in on-call rotations for the owned systems

• Willingness to mentor junior developers

• Passionate about new technologies, but wise in adopting them

• Can do attitude, willingness to tackle uncharted territories
