As Service Owner you will be part of a professional Application Operation team, responsible for operating, running and supporting diverse business application for MCC, Real, Metro AG developed either internally or externally.
You are the best fit for this role if you have good communication and negotiation skills, a comprehensive understanding of applications design and infrastructure components.
The main responsibility of the Service Owner is to establish and deliver an operational service, based on the needs from all stakeholders by maintaining service at the higher standards and continuously adding improvements.
Knowledge & skills:
•Minimum of 1 years of experience leading operational teams as a product owner
•Strong knowledge and understanding of infrastructure layers (e.g. routing, switching, firewall, operating systems, databases, disaster recovery, interfaces, services, etc.)
•Very good technical engineering best practices such as environment setup, test driven deployments, continuous integration, automation, self-healing
•Good experience with cloud based technologies, microservice architectures and any other innovative cutting edge solutions
•Expert communication skills towards business Product Owners, team members and any other stakeholders in order to achieve a common understanding.
•Very good delegation, prioritization and time management skills.
•Team player, energetic, enthusiastic with high attention to detail and logical decision making.
•Fluent in English both written and spoken.
•Align with each Product Owner the specific of applications’ operational delivery.
•Coordinate the daily technical activities of AOS team to ensure the optimum usage of resources and customer satisfaction.
•Maintain and improve support and operation processes for all applications.
•Offer actively support for all team’s projects and initiatives.
•Ability to diagnose and provide robust resolutions to queries and issues on related applications and infrastructure layers by finding the root cause of the problems.
•Ability to explain technical subjects in a suitable manner to the audience involved.
