QA Engineer

VON Consulting is an HR Consultancy company, providing solutions and services in the following areas: recruitment and executive search, personnel leasing, payroll, administration and training.

Must have:

- Overall 1 year industry experience with proven working knowledge in TCP/IP
- Analytical skills for troubleshooting and isolating issues
- Ability to quickly learn and grasp new technologies
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Desire and ability to work in a highly collaborative, team-oriented environment

Nice to have:

- Familiar with tools & processes including revision control and defect tracking
- Working technically & testing in virtualized environment and/or cloud (public/private) environment
- Knowledge of scripting languages (TCL/Python/other)
- CCNA certification and above
- Experience with Agile methodology and Continuous Integration

- The QA Engineer will be performing both manual testing, run automated test harnesses and be introduced on how to add automated scripts to the harness
- Creating a methodical, logical plan to test a specific new product, feature, or entire release
- Performing manual and automated testing of network products
- Performing verification testing on bug fixes. Analyze test results to ensure existing functionality and recommend corrective action
- Tracking and managing testing progress during release
- Working effectively with the development teams on solutions
