Service Project Manager for Defence Operations Bucharest

The job
Since January 2017 Systematic have had a development center in Bucharest. We are now seeking to expand that capability with a service delivery team who can provide support and services to our Defence customers worldwide both before, during and after implementation of our products. The services the team will perform include customer on-site support, training, technical sales support, back-office support, installation and configuration, test and test management. Your job will be to support and coordinate these activities between the team, other Systematic Defence Service & Projects teams and the customer.

As our new Project Manager, you will be responsible for starting up and running the day-to-day business with the team, delivering on agreed scope, time and quality in a highly customer-oriented environment. You will get to lead the team and be responsible for their personal and professional growth. You will have many different tasks and a high degree of freedom to plan your own work.

Your skills and personality
We expect that you:
Have an IT-related Master's degree and skills that match PMI, Prince2 or IPMA Level B / C
Have some years of experience as a Project Manager and proven results running complex IT projects in a busy environment
Can manage a highly complex and agile project together with the customer and sub-contractor
Are skilled in combining business insight with IT knowledge to create value for the customer
Are outgoing, trustworthy and able to inspire both the customer’s end-users and senior management
Are proactive and eager to make a difference
Can achieve results with both service delivery and software development
Possess leadership experience and have the ability to coach and motivate others inside and outside own organization
Have a proven ability to deliver on cost, schedule and quality
Military knowledge or experience is an advantage but not a requirement
Experience and certifications within SCRUM and ITIL is an advantage

You are ambitious and you set the bar high. You are willing and able to constantly improve and develop yourself, your team and your surroundings. You are an independent team player with the skills to cooperate and build good relationships, and you are comfortable among others. High drive and a good mood characterizes you, and you have a high degree of flexibility. Finally, you speak fluent English and you are a NATO citizen capable of qualifying for security clearance up to NATO Secret.
