Java Developer in the Defence domain

Systematic develops software and system solutions to customers in Defense, Healthcare, Library & Learning, Public & Private and Intelligence & National Security. In January 2017, Systematic opened a development center in Bucharest that produces software for Defence, IT solutions for professionals in the healthcare and service sectors and innovative library and learning software platforms.
Requirements

The project In our Systematic Defense department, our Products are already sold to more than 40 nations. All products have an open API that allow additional functionalities to be built externally to the product. Often when a Systematic Defense Product is sold, the customers require features that is built as extensions to the core product. The Bespoke Applications Project is responsible for implementing some of these features for the customers. As the SitaWare Suite is experiencing an increasing success there is a need to hire additional developers in both Denmark and Romania.

In Romania, the intent is to establish a team of five developers that will work in close collaboration with the developers and architect in Denmark. However, you will be given full responsibility of features and maintenance at the same level as the Danish developers. We are building up a team that will consist of a mix between junior, intermediate and senior level candidates.

Technical requirements

Must have:
Theoretical background in computer science, computer engineering or similar
Minimum one year experience with software development and JavaSE or JEE.


Advantage:
Knowledge of AngularJS or similar MVC frameworks
Practical experience writing CSS3/SCSS and HTML5
Practical experience with C# .Net Technology stack:
Java technology (JEE, JavaSE, Swing, JavaFX, OSGI, JUnit, Mockito)
Tools (Jira, Git, IntelliJ)
Methodology (Scrum, Kanban, LEAN)


OPTIONAL:
Web based solutions (HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3, AngularJS)
C# .Net
