Junior Developer

London Stock Exchange Group is a global markets infrastructure business, sitting at the heart of the world’s financial community. We provide valuable services for a wide range of customers, focusing on Intellectual Property, Risk and Balance Sheet Management and Capital Formation.

• Work with experienced developers & team leads in Bucharest and London to develop and support key real-time and EOD systems within FTSE Russell

Essential skills:

• Degree qualified in IT based discipline (Computer Science, Cybernetics, Mathematics and Informatics)
• Good skills in programming languages like Java or .NET is required
• Experience in database and SQL is preferred
• Experience in Linux or Windows development is preferred

Non-essential but preferred skills:

• Public Cloud – AWS or Azure
• Financial markets experience

Other skills:

• Articulate, energetic person able to work alone or as part of a team
• Excellent attention to detail but an ability to think laterally to solve business problems
• Ability to learn quickly
• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
