Java Web Developer (machine learning, Big Data)

WHAT THEY WANT?

o have at least 2 years of experience of web development experience with Java Web Services and Spring Framework

WHAT DO THEY DO?
o Design, develop and maintain complex, high performance and adaptive web applications using Java
o Write clean, well engineered, maintainable code that conforms with accepted standards
o Develop quality code through unit and functional testing
o Identify opportunities for process improvement and make constructive suggestions for change
They analyze, understand and then create applications using tools such as:
o Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Hibernate ORM (or any other similar frameworks), Java Web Services (RESTful Service)
o Experience with SOLR or ElasticSearch is a plus
o Experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL/ MySQL) as well as NoSQL databases (Redis/ MongoDB)
o Working experience with HBase/HIVE is a plus
o Familiarity with HTML, CSS, AJAX, SASS/LESS, HTML 5 JS
o Experience with version control software (preferably Git)
o Experience with Agile methodologies
