    Decathlon Romania is hiring a Quality Production Leader, full time, for our office in Timișoara. We are all delighted sportspeople who have turned our passion into our job, which is to “make sports accessible to the many”. Decathlon develops, produces and sells multi-brand sports equipment for in-house brands dedicated to the pleasure and excitement of sports for all customers, from beginners to professionals.

    What do you have to do:
    As a Quality Production Leader, you will join our mission to make sports accessible to all by ensuring that our innovative sports products have the best quality. You will work closely with the manufacturers to ensure the quality from the beginning until the end of the production process. You will have the chance to use your love of sports in a dynamic job, in the office by working with other sports enthusiasts and in our factories by creating high-quality sports products. Your Tasks:

    • manage each supplier to develop and produce safe quality products, within short lead-times;
    • you work in a network with team partners, supply production leader, method engineer and product engineer;
    • to manage your project and take decisions;
    • evaluate and ensure the quality of your products during production;
    • share a continuous improvement mindset;
    • manage new project development to reach technical requirement while mastering quality, cost, and lead-time;
    • enforce the Decathlon social charter;
    • ensure that our environmental and toxicology rules are respected.
    This is you:
    - a sports enthusiast, you practice a sport regularly;
    - good level of English (B2/C1 or above);
    - driver license mandatory;
    - curious and handy, like to carry out an investigation by himself on the field;
    - engineering studies (it is a plus);
    - energetic, responsible, organized, autonomous;
    - team spirit, willing to share;
    - available to travel abroad for work and training;
    - computer skills.
