Quality Laboratory Technician

AVX Electronics Sensing and Control Timisoara SRL provide comprehensive sensing and control solutions, for critical transportation applications, under the AB Elektronik brand with more than 30 years of experience in Automotive Industry. We produce a wide range of electronic components for the automotive industry, such as acceleration pedals, sensors (fluid temperature, level and pressure etc.), LED technology modules, electronic actuators and circuit boards. We employ over 450 employees. 

AVX Electronics Sensing and Control Timisoara SRL is a part of the Sensing and Control division of the AVX Corporation.

Responsibilities of the job:

Performing laboratory tests in order to obtain reliable and precise data, to support production functional tests;
Performing laboratory tests in order to obtain reliable and precise data, to support production product audits;
Carrying out routine tasks accurately and following strict methodologies to carry out analyses;
Recording and interpreting results to present required information’s to the involved departments;
Using computers and performing mathematical calculations for the preparation of graphs;

Qualifications required for the job:

Experience in the automotive industry;
Operating standard laboratory equipment;
Technical (electronics would be a plus) skills;
Working knowledge of measurement instruments;
Knowledge of MS Office programs;
Good spoken and written English;
High independence, accuracy, flexibility and teamwork
