    KYOCERA AVX Components (Timisoara) SRL provides comprehensive sensing and control solutions, for critical transportation applications, with more than 30 years of experience in Automotive Industry.
    We produce a wide range of electronic components for the automotive industry, such as:
    - acceleration pedals,
    - sensors (fluid temperature, level and pressure etc.),
    - LED technology modules,
    - electronic actuators
    - circuit boards.
    We have around 500 employees. We are active in Romania since 2012.

    Requirements

    •The successful candidate will be partnering with the EHS site team and to ensure H&S regulatory compliance with local regulations and adherence to company H&S standard practices as well as identification of health & safety hazards and controls to mitigate risks;
    •Provides support and verifies compliance with company and client on Environmental Health and Safety policies, Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulations, and other job specified procedures or standards;
    •Plans and implements Health and Safety procedures;
    •Manages the case of injury, incident and events;
    •Schedules, coordinates and conducts project EHS audits and inspections in order to identify and assist in correcting unsafe and unhealthy work conditions or practices;
    •Communicates results of audits and overall Health and Safety performance to management as necessary;
    •Implements and coordinate H&S procedures, company medical programs, accident reporting, employee training, and EHS record keeping;
    •Ability to effectively resolve complex EHS issues and explain difficult concepts while persuading other to adopt a common point of view is required;
    •Keeps abreast of any changes to laws and regulations that impact the organization;

    Responsibilities

    •University degree;
    •MS Office literate (Word, Excel and Power Point etc.);
    •2+ years of H&S experience in industrial environment;
    •Occupational Health and Safety professional certificate;
    •Risk Assessment Certificate;
