    Professional Skills
     Completed business or commercial university studies or commercial training with an appropriate further training (e.g. business administrator)
     Min. 3 - 4 years commercial experience or in a similar position
     Knowledge of audit methods
     Good computer skills
     German language is a strong plus
     Good written and oral communication skills
     Willingness to go on business trips for several days (driving license required)

     Verifying the KiK branches of compliance with the operational specifications
    o cash/register

     Independent analysis of the cash register data and economic data
     Exposure and processing of offences
     Preparing and performance of staff training
     Monitoring the annual inventory
     Counselling and supporting the branches on all matters of inventory and branch security

    Company Information
    The largest textile discounter chain in Germany, KiK (an acronym for "Kunde ist König" - “the customer is the king”) was founded by Stefan Heinig in 1994. Through its 3,500 stores in Germany, Austria, Slovenia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia, Croatia, Poland, The Netherlands and Italy, the company sells a range of women's, men's and children's clothing, baby wear and underwear, as well as toys, accessories and home textiles. The sixth largest textile manufacturer in Germany, KiK is focused on basic styles, with occasional changes in its assortment. This means that the company does not depend on trends and seasons. The orders can be produced with long lead times from 9 to 12 months, with no time pressure. KiK collaborates with approximately 500 suppliers in Bangladesh, China, Pakistan and Turkey, with Bangladesh the biggest contributor, accounting for over 40% of the orders. The products are transported to Germany by sea freight and distributed to the its stores abroad.

    THE COMPANY’S CULTURE
    KiK is a member of the German government's Partnership for Sustainable Textiles, a multi-stakeholder initiative to bring about social, ecological and economic improvements along the textile supply chain. Alongside more than 150 members (including Otto Group, Adidas, Hugo Boss and Puma), KiK is engaged in all the initiative's working groups. The company was one of the first members of the Partnership to publish its catalogue of measures designed to provide greater transparency to consumers for products sold in Germany
    In 2016, KiK drew up a compulsory set of basic principles for all their suppliers: its Code of Conduct is based on the International Labor Organization (ILO) convention, and governs adherence to minimum standards with view to working conditions in factories producing for the company.
    A large proportion of KiK products already carry certifications such as the German Öko-Tex Standard 100 or the TOXPROOF label from the TÜV (the German association for technical inspection). The company has also adopted a variety of measures designed to minimize their energy consumption and its impact on the environment and to promote the active conservation of resources.
