Junior QA Engineer

What you’ll need to be successful:
• Experience with QA, system development, and test project life cycle methodologies
• Hands-on experience with Web applications, Mobile apps, Windows applications and databases
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow and develop specific and detailed procedures
• Great oral and written communication skills - and complete proper execution of plans
• Demonstrated ability to work multiple projects simultaneously
Nice-to-have:
• Experience or working knowledge with Workforce management solutions and processes
• Ability to use test automation frameworks and tools to automate manual tests
• Strong technical skills including a broad understanding of relational databases, webservices and cloud technologies

What you’ll be doing:
• Collaborate with Test manager and R&D teams in delivering high quality software to our customers
• Execute on test plans and reporting of findings
• Define system test scenarios, create system test plans and participate in the definition and execution of manual and/or automated system test scripts
• Provide input to system and unit test strategies
• Facilitate data creation to execute system test cases, including automation of these
• Actively participate in our lean agile team efforts, including process improvement initiatives
• Complete required product training, as well as keeping up to date on product knowledge and general QA disciplines
• Proactively pursue becoming an intermediate/senior tester when appropriate
