o Technical education – Engineer (mechanics, electrical or industrial engineer)
o Familiarity with mechanical and electrical production processes and technologies, understanding of drawings and schemas
o Familiarity with basic SPC tools, statistical techniques and standards (e.g. ANSI Z1.4)
o Experience of at least 5 years in QA position in hi-tech production environment – An advantage
o Formal certification as CIS in IPC-A610E - an advantage. If not certified – the training and qualification must be made within a year after recruitment
o Fluent English (read write speak)
o Good communication skills and human relations
o Fast learner
o Willing to work in a demanding work hours and fluctuating work load
o Familiar with problem solving techniques, 8D methodology and leading corrective action plans
o A willingness to travel abroad, approximately 40-50% of time
o Reporting to the corporate Product QA director
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
o Control and supervise of production, inspections and tests processes at sub-contractor production line and its logistic centers via micro process audits and out of the box tests and inspections
o Maintain professional authority that advises and decides regarding mechanical and electronic workmanship standards
o Verify correctness, timing and completeness of Engineering change orders after being released to the subcontractor
o Follow up of weekly yields reports, identifying outstanding events and driving corrective and preventative action
o Management and tracking of customer complaints if rooted to the sub-contractor facility
o Assist the company in experiments, studies and prototypes
o Scrap approval of damaged /worn out units in repair processes
o Publish concessions (waivers) when possible
o Encourage continuous improvement at sub-contractor processes
o Assist company’s HQ QA in source inspection or other QA survey and missions in other manufacturers sites or logistic centers
