Android Developer for SW Testing

Position Summary

You will be part of a team responsible for developing and maintaining an Android application framework used for performing Automated Testing for the Phone Software Module and Connectivity Module in a Next Generation High-end Embedded Infotainment System.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code for the Phone Controller Android Application
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation
• Development and maintenance of automated tests
• Maintaining software repositories within a global development team
• Active cooperation with the development teams

Basic Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience as an Android Developer and with the Android platform and SDK
• Degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics engineering or comparable course of studies
• Independent and systematic operation, high quality awareness
• Good English communication skills both written and verbal
• Availability to work in a fast-pace environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with embedded operating systems (eg Linux, QNX)
• Knowledge of build / deployment automation (Jenkins, CruiseControl, Bamboo)
• Experience with version management systems (Git, SVN, Perforce)
• Basic Linux knowledge
• Experience in automotive development
• Experience working with electronic and hardware components
• Scripting / Programming skills

• Willingness to travel (0-20% of time) depending on the project necessities
