    PwC is offering you the opportunity for further professional development by joining our colleagues as a Consultant within our Advisory - Transaction Services department.


    Role and responsibilities:

    • Understand the business of the analysed company – usually a company in the process of being sold/acquired (the Target company)
    • Be involved in preparing financial analyses related to the Income Statement and Balance Sheet (data processing, review for errors, perform analyses to show relevant trends and conclusions) of the Target company
    • Write report sections containing results of analyses performed
    • Be involved in the review other business-related information (management reports, commercial contracts, financial agreements etc.)
    • Raise questions to the Target company’s Management and staff regarding financial and accounting matters analysed
    • Discuss findings with team and more senior staff and follow up on review points
    • Take part in client meetings
    • Work as part of a team, liaise with both client/Target and other specialist staff in the practice to provide high quality client services


    Job requirements:

    • Finance or accounting professionals with min. 1.5 years of relevant experience (audit experience is a plus)
    • Being an ACCA student is a plus
    • Good analytical skills
    • Strong English language skills
    • Ability to communicate clearly with colleagues and clients at all levels
    • Well-developed listening and questioning techniques, supported by strong analytical skills and organisational abilities
    • Attention to details
    • Strong team working skills
    • Accounting knowledge (Romanian Accounting Standards and IFRS knowledge)
    • Computer literacy (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Internet)
    • High level of business awareness
