- Managing and optimizing local country IS organization
- Manage the fulfillment of country specific operations and development
- Maintain the cooperation between the different IS teams
- Collaboration with corporate with headquarter IS.
- Supporting the transformation towards the target organization and processes
- Managing costs of local services (budgeting, controlling, etc.)
- Managing the fulfillment of country specific demands

Process, Demand and Change Management
- Understand the need of the users
- Analyze the current solution
- Specify changes required in process/application
- Support the development of business cases
- Forward demands and monitor progress
- Quality check and release solutions provided
- Performing technical support Help Desk for the department specific areas
- Continuously striving towards improving IT processes

Operations
- Procure IT-components, maintain supplier contacts, conclude efficient service contracts against justified costs
- Deploy systems (configure, install)
- Determining the service delivery strategy consistent with the corporate technical management
- Provide on-site support
- Provide solutions:
- Workarounds and/or final resolution
- Standard Services (report, user access rights, customizing w/o source code modification, etc.)
- Training
- Forward to technical help desk
- Accept solution provided by IT
- Manage incidents / problems
- Perform configuration and change management
- Operate systems
- Application servers
- Office communication servers
- Networks
- Desktop PCs, mobile PCs (laptop, PDAs), printers, etc.
- POS systems
