Firewall Administrator

As a provider of internal IT services for METRO GROUP, METRO SYSTEMS Romania provides specialized consulting to retail companies in all aspects of IT, develops specific solutions along the full value chain and provides a powerful IT infrastructure with a team of over 900 IT professionals.

We are looking for a enthusiastic, dedicated and motivated Firewall Administrator to join our international team. The successful candidate will have experience architecting and operating network security systems.

Planning, development and design of the IT security infrastructure
Provides the proper functionality and high level of security through the application of network and security principles
Perform operations of the security infrastructure, focusing on the Check Point Firewall appliances
Problem analysis and development of solutions for product, network and application issues (TCP / IP, routing, switching, firewalling)
Participation in national and international projects as well as contact for departments and customers within the METRO GROUP

You’re a great fit if you have:
University degree in computer science and relevant trainings
Good communication skills, team player, ability to work in international teams

Excellent customer orientation skills
Proven experience in dealing with Check Point products
Very good spoken and written English skills
