The ideal candidate has ...

- At least 5 years of experience supporting Cisco networking, wireless, and WAN acceleration technologies;
- Bachelor’s Degree in a technology field preferred; minimum education required is an Associate’s degree;
- CCNA desired;
- Wireless technology experience required; advanced knowledge of LAN, WAN, and - - - Wireless technologies preferred;
- Expertise in Cisco technologies and IOS;
- Strong troubleshooting, communication and technical skills.

- Provide 24x7 support for wireless LAN services across 300 global locations;
- Must support implementation of Cisco ISE and Cisco Prime;
- Ensure all wireless services are designed and configured to achieve maximum uptime;
- Ensure all wireless services are monitored, secured and documented;
- Perform regular maintenance on all systems to ensure software is up to date and secured;
- Ensure site surveys are current and accurate for all locations;
- Ensure all data services are appropriately sized to support the business needs (capacity management);
- Research and evaluate new wireless network technologies to improve available features and meet the changing business needs;
- Installation and management of wireless end points and software;
- Provide end user documentation and training;
- Resolution of tickets placed assigned to the Network Services technical team;
- Must work closely with IT Security to ensure wireless network access is controlled and compliant with company security standards;
- Standardize wireless network processes, procedures and equipment globally;
- Participate in Corporate working groups as needed;
- Ensure wireless network services comply with Vertiv Architecture standards;
- Any additional responsibilities assigned by the WAN Infrastructure Manager.
