English Translator (determined contract 1 year)

As the business world changes, can you keep the pace?

Bachelor Degree in Foreign Languages (mainly English);
Translation authorization granted by the Ministry of Justice – being a sworn translator is a must;
Relevant experience in the translation field;
You will need to be computer savvy (CAT tools like Trados, Wordbee are a plus);
You will also need to be detailed and methodical in your work, always quality-oriented and able to meet deadlines;
Very good communication and inter-personal skills and ability to both work individually and in teams;
Enthusiasm and ability to quickly adjust to the work environment as a fast learner;
You will need to have the capacity to prioritize projects when simultaneously dealing with multiple tasks.

We are currently looking for a new colleague to join our Professional Services team for a determined period of 1 year (Maternity leave cover), with the possibility of additional extension of the contract for another year.


What you will have to do:

Translation mainly into/from English/Romanian of official documents (legal, commercial, financial, economic, IT), with particular focus on the government and public sector;
Managing and coordinating the overall translation process and serving as a single point of accountability for the successful completion of projects;
Planning, scheduling and monitoring the progress of multiple projects;
Text editing and correction, proofreading;
Providing translation support for different events in which EY Romania will be involved.
