The Corporate System and Technologies Organization is responsible for cross-divisional challenges such as technology studies and pre-development activities. Our team works in special focus areas for innovation projects which are directed towards automotive software systems. This includes but is not restricted to high performance computing, automated driving and driver assistance functions and systems, e-mobility, and future standards for AUTOSAR. We are looking for a highly motivated Leader of SW Architecture (m/f) team for innovative Automotive Embedded SW Platforms. Job Description: To master the technologies challenges, we need you to * Manage and develop the Corp S&T Software Architecture Team with a clearly visible focus on new SW technologies, innovation and cross Business Unit (BU) alignment topics. * Ensure technical solutions of the team are delivered with full functionality, within time and given budget. * Build the team´s competency and motivation through meaningful personal development plans. This includes coaching and mentoring of the team members, proposing the right competence build up and ensuring innovative and ambitious project assignments. * Allocate staff to the projects which are in line with the Corp S&T SW COC strategy. Make sure requesting projects are staffed with the right competence and expertise. * Monitor the progress for the ongoing software innovation and platform projects, remove impediments. If necessary, act as first contact for escalations. * Ensure adherence to defined processes and quality standards. * Establish and maintain interface to the Corp S&T and BU stakeholders, advertise activities, strive for visibility of the projects corporate wide. * Consider inputs from the Corporate Strategy and the market concerning technology priorities.
* University degree * Minimum 8 years' experience in software development, minimum 3 years leadership roles within SW development * Advanced knowledge and understanding of SW engineering principles and techniques, including development process, effort estimations, software architectures, methods and design tools * Project leadership skills. * Knowledgeable in agile software development environment * Proven communication and interpersonal skills * Methodical and structured approach * Fluent English, both in speaking and writing
