    We are looking for a full time finance colleague. The main purpose of the role is supporting the finance manager in steering the finances and strategic financial decisions of our impact business.

    The experience and qualities we are looking for:

    • 2+ years experience in a financial position
    • General economic education or accounting degree
    • Proficiency in Excel and Word, knowledge of Ciel accounting software would be an asset
    • Must be well-organized and a self-starter
    • Must be able to follow standard filing procedures
    • Detail-oriented, professional attitude, reliable
    • Strong problem-solving and time management skills
    • Possess basic accounting principles knowledge documentation skills, research and resolution skills, data analysis and multi-tasking skills
    • Thorough knowledge of applicable accounts payable/general ledger systems and procedures, financial chart of accounts and corporate procedures
    • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
    • Ability to interact with employees and vendors in a professional manner
    • Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness

    Financial management and reporting

    • Support all financial management activities, working closely with the finance manager
    • Use and implement systems for reporting, measurement and supporting local revenue generation
    • Monitor external contracts and services provided by suppliers to ensure that these are operating effectively and provide the best value to the company.
    • Provide financial advice and guidance to the company's managers and staff to enable them to achieve their objectives
    • Maintain historical records by filing documents
    • Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices
    • Prepare all reports specific to the funded programs the organization is running (EU funded, corporate or foundations) in a timely manner
    • Ensure a rigorous financial management and reporting of grants, programs and projects

    Accounting Management

    • Assure that all records, transactions, reports and documentation are compliance with the Romanian regulation
    • Issue all invoices and send them to our customers
    • Reconciliation of accounts with suppliers/clients
    • Process invoices in order to maintain updated the P&L sources
    • Prepare labor contracts and personnel files and all the reported related to the authorities or management
    • Participate in case of controls from different authorities
    • Maintaining the relations with banks, suppliers, clients, authorities in cases related to the Accounting and HR activities
    • Participate in the review the annual statutory financial statements and the half yearly accounting reports
    • Organize the accounting and legal archive and maintain it update
