Automation Test Engineer-Daimler

Position Summary:

He/she will be part of a team responsible for developing and maintaining Automated and Manual Tests and Testing tools for the Phone Software Module and Connectivity Module for the Next Generation High-end Embedded Infotainment System.

Responsibilities:

• Development and maintainance of automated tests
• Development and maintainance of testing tools
• Execution of automated and manual test cases
• Reporting bugs and raising issues
• Maintaining software repositories within a global development team
• Active cooperation with the development department

Basic Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience as a Automated or Manual SW Tester
• Degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics engineering or comparable course of studies
• Scripting / Programming skills
• Knowledge of build / deployment automation (Jenkins, CruiseControl, Bamboo)
• Experience with version management systems (Git, SVN, Perforce)
• Basic Linux knowledge
• High team and cooperation capability
• Independent and systematic operation, high quality awareness
• Good  english communication skills both written and verbal

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with embedded operating systems (eg Linux, QNX)
• Understanding or familiar with C# preferable in embedded environment
• Experience in automotive development
• Experience working with electronic and hardware components
