Validation & Testing Software Engineer (Tools)

Scripting skills – python and ECL
Experiences with tools - git, RCPTT, Jira
Microcontrollers knowledge is a plus
Experience with Eclipse is a plus
Basic hardware knowledge is a plus

Drive the testing activities for the ongoing releases – analyze new features, send feedback and add tests if needed, create test plans and reports, execute tests, raise defects, analyze the issues and possible root-causes
Contributions to the automated solution and continuous maintenance
Coordinate with the development team and other test teams involved

The Microprocessors Validation team in Bucharest contributes to MCUXpresso IDE, an Eclipse-based development environment for NXP MCUs based on ARM® Cortex®-M cores, including LPC and Kinetis microcontrollers. The MCUXpresso IDE offers advanced editing, compiling and debugging features with the addition of MCU-specific debugging views, code trace and profiling, multicore debugging, and more.
