    Requirements

    Essential Requirements

    4+ years experience in an information technology role, at least two of which was related to DLP, information security, security tools, etc.
    Bachelors degree in information technology, or a related field - or equivalent experience
    Knowledge of data security solutions and the metrics associated with those solutions
    Familiarity with security issues related to preventing data loss and managing data protection
    Must have ability to identify gaps in procedures, and willingness to communicate them to the team, and suggest improvements
    Excellent English skills - written and verbal communication
    Experience with Data Loss Prevention tools (Symantec is preferred)
    Detailed knowledge of security technologies and trends
    Working knowledge/experience of network and Windows systems security principles and applications
    Knowledge of releases, install, configuration, and troubleshooting desirable
    Desirable Requirements

    Ability to apply very good technically oriented concepts to problem solving
    Must have excellent client service skills, very strong written and verbal communications skills
    Experience with implementing IT Security policies and events analysis
    Hands-on experience with Symantec DLP and Varonis would be preferred
    Technology background should include Security tools with centralized management and/or SIEM experience
    Work effectively across functional teams at both SecureWorks and with the client
    Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects and assist/advise support engineers in establishing appropriate priorities
    Excellent customer service skills.
    Possess active industry certifications such as CCSP, CCSK, CISSP, GCIA, GCIH, or OSCP

    Responsibilities

    Key Responsibilities


    You will work as part of a team of security engineers responsible for operational activities for DLP and IAM security tool suites.

    Data Loss Prevention Engineer will be primarily responsible for the daily, maintenance and managing the enterprise related solutions, as well as providing input to reporting functions. The main duties of the person in this role will include proper care and administration of the Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and File Integrity Monitoring environments. The Engineer will liaise with the client and third parties in respect of patching, maintenance and capacity issues for the systems in question.

    Perform architecture and configuration duties for DLP security technologies.
    Work with vendors to support the DLP technology (troubleshooting, maintenance, upgrades, etc.)
    Provide Subject matter expertise and guidance to the client's operational teams that request or require DLP Engineering participation.
    Provide as-built design documentation and control methodology for DLP tools.
    Act as a level 2 escalation point for technical issues from DLP
    Provide in-depth analysis and recommendations regarding new features or capabilities for existing DLP.
    Monitor alerts generated from the DLP systems
    Ensure security technology configuration meets compliance with relevant clients corporate policies and standards.
    Respond to escalations, understand and follow the Incident Response process through event escalations
    Interface with IT Operations, Network Operations, Infrastructure teams, etc.
