Infrastructure Engineer

Network and System Infrastructure (NSI) team is looking for a colleague to contribute in the delivery of the services to the service platforms in Orange, such as Messaging, Cloud environment, Device Management, Authentication, to more than 30 affiliates.

In your daily activities you will have the opportunity to work on cloud environments with open source technologies and DevOps tools while delivering in Agile methodology.

What you will be doing:

• Integration, Testing and Acceptance Network infrastructures
• Network infrastructure management, appliance installation and configuration
• Management of the virtual and physical infrastructure

What you have:

• At least 3 years of experience in infrastructure engineering and design
• Good knowledge of networking concepts: routing, switching, security, load balancing
• Very good understanding of architecture designs and logical diagrams
• Good knowledge of UNIX/LINUX OS administration
• Good knowledge of virtualization and cloud concepts, experience with commercial/open source vendors is a plus
• Basic database knowledge
• Basic scripting skills (shell, python, perl, etc)
• Experience with infrastructure appliances (security, proxy, LB, etc)
• Knowledge of storage infrastructure
• Knowledge of Automation tools (ansible, puppet, chef, etc)

Education and qualifications required:

• Graduate of a technical faculty in the field of telecommunications, automatics, computer science or electronics/physics
