How the Bucharest’s office is being structured?
In Bucharest we have a R&D center of excellence, one of the biggest in Europe and here we have the following teams: Software Development, Software Testing, Product Management, Pre-Sales, Customer Support & Implementation for clients, Global Services, General Administration (HR, Finance, Facilities). Currently, Finastra has over 9000 clients in more than 130 countries from United States of America, Middle East, Europe, Africa and Asia-Pacific.
What are the open roles @ Finastra?
At this moment we are mainly looking for talented and passionate people for the Development Department (with C++, C#, Java knowledge) and Testing & Customer Support Departments (Functional – with financial background, and Technical). Usually we are looking for candidates with experience in financial industry for roles like business analyst, technical writers, product managers, etc. and of course with IT knowledge in different areas or programming languages/technologies.
We are also offering career opportunities to students and young graduates, as a proof for this we are currently recruiting for junior roles and internship program in our Customer Support and Sales Department. All our vacancies are available on our career portal.
What’s the recruitment process @ Finastra?
For us, it is important to create an experience for our candidates, not just a recruitment process.
We want to have a pleasant recruitment process and provide feedback to our candidates as soon as possible.
The recruitment process might vary from one role to another, but we mainly have three stages: an online evaluation, a HR discussion (face-to-face or telephone), and a technical and business interview (for top roles we have more technical discussions).

Finastra places social responsibility at the heart of its culture, bringing people and technology together through financial inclusion, investment in youth and open innovation.
Finastra encourages its employees to volunteer their time and participate in programs we have created for them to enact positive social change. Our main program is the ‘Hour of Code’ from Code.org, which was facilitated by our parent company Vista Equity Partners. The program enables each member of our 4,500+ R&D workforce to take time out to run coding clubs for children and teach software development to less privileged members of society.
