XL World currently operates from a fully redundant and secure infrastructure, tailored to the needs of large companies in Romania and abroad.

The company started operating in Romania in 2000 as a software development factory. In the following years, the Romanian business shifted focus from Software Development to Call Center Outsourcing and BPO.

In 2006 the company completed a reorganization of the different business lines, merging and re-branding all operating companies (Contact Line, Contact Center, Media Strategy) under the XL World brand
