Starting in 2011, EA Romania’s team began working on the FIFA franchise, the world’s biggest sports videogame franchise. EA SPORTS delivers personal access to the emotion of sports through industry-leading sports simulation videogames, including Madden NFL football, FIFA Soccer, NHL® hockey, NBA JAM basketball, NCAA® Football, Fight Night boxing, EA SPORTS MMA, Tiger Woods PGA TOUR® golf, and EA SPORTS Active.

The other aspects of the Romanian Studio consist of teams which are responsible for developing mobile games covering new original IP as well as the adaptation of existing IP for a range of platforms. In addition, the Studio has responsibility for developing technological systems for the processing and distribution of mobile games. EA Mobile is a true global leader in mobile gaming and develops many of the most popular mobile phone games such as Command & Conquer Red Alert, Star Trek, Monopoly, FIFA and Tetris.

The testing division dedicated to testing EA's PC & Console is responsible for making sure that the products EA releases are of the highest quality possible. Their dedication and hard work has brought appreciation and recognition from gamers all over the world who can enjoy high quality games from franchises such as Need for Speed, Battlefield, Star Wars: The Old Republic, Harry Potter, Burnout and many more.

Located in the brand new Riverview building by the Dambovita river, EA Romania is easily reached by public transport with the Petrache Poenaru subway station being less than one minute from the office and the local tram station only 500 meters away. The office is close to the city centre and only 10 minutes walk from Politehnica University and its campus. Local facilities include a lake, park as well as a number of bars/ restaurants for those wanting to enjoy a quick beer after work.
