Testimonials from last year's interns...
Intern 2011: Irina Odagiu (Jr. KPI Administrator)
It all started with an essay and my whole life changed in a second! New town, new culture, new people and a job that I could only dream about! The Butterfly Effect Internship was the best thing that could happen to me!
After two weeks of intense training, I was ready to start as a summer intern at Dragon (our plant in Dragomiresti). From the first moment you step into the plant, nothing and nobody from the outside matters, it’s like you enter in another world. Without realizing, Dragon captivates you. Life at Dragon thought me what loving your job means, has thought me that it doesn’t matter how hard it gets to be sometimes, as long as you love what you do and you have the support to do it. You feel like you’re a part of a big family and even if you don’t get to know everyone in the plant, you feel close to them because at the end of the day you all have struggled for the same cause!
This Internship was all about possibilities, about having the chance to enter into a big family, a family that you are proud of!
Thank you!

Intern 2011: Mircea Mihalache (DTS Administrator)
What I appreciated about this internship was the feeling of being connected to the real world, where real things happen and where every decision made influences future actions. I learnt in a summer more than I did my entire life. I got a real taste of what responsibility means and how others depend on the quality of your work. It was a life changing experience and I am glad I was part of the Butterfly Effect Internship.

Intern 2011: Ioana Tomut (Receptionist)
The PepsiCo Internship is probably the best way for students to learn about the business environment. If you haven’t had much practice but you’re a fast learner: this internship is exactly what you need. The Internship has proved to be an incredible opportunity for me. I have had the chance to see how the company works from different perspectives: as HR intern, as the GM’s assistant, as a receptionist…. and I don’t know what the next opportunity will be but I am looking forward to it. There is a lot of work to do but you can always find a helping hand when you need it.
Intern 2011: Lavinia Barbu (Jr. Innovation Specialist)
PepsiCo is a company where one feels like there are no hierarchies. You are taken very
seriously no matter your position and nobody gives you a condescending look. This company has invested time and patience in me, which makes me very grateful. The people in my team trust me and are eager, just as I myself am, to see what I can do. I have shown my potential and I have been rewarded with a full time permanent position in one of the most dynamic department in the company: marketing. This is the place where you can really discover what you’re made of and where you can learn a lot about others, as well as about yourself.
I remember the day when I decided to apply to the Butterfly Effect program. I was in my third year of studies and I was struggling with my diploma paper. My colleague called me and told me about this program. I checked the site to see what it was about and thought applying wouldn’t hurt. I was surprised to receive a call from the HR department telling me I was chosen for the first stage. I went there, laughed, learned and was chosen for the next step. The internship was one of the most wonderful experiences so far and I’ve managed to get passed the diploma paper with flying colors. What thrilled me? The trust my manager had in me, her desire to teach me as much as possible, to make me grow and to show me that I can do more and better every time.
Thank you for an extraordinary opportunity and for all the unforgettable moments!
